We are looking for a
Simulation Engineer
To focus on computational modeling and simulation of Canatu’s proprietary Carbon Nanotubes (CNT) synthesis process. As part of our commitment to advancing technology and nurturing talent, we are seeking a motivated new colleague to join our professional CAD & CAE team. This position provides a captivating opportunity to expand your knowledge in the multi-physics simulation domain.
Responsibilities
- Utilizing multi-physics software (COMSOL) to model and simulate Canatu’s products and various aspects of the floating-catalyst (FCCVD) process including, but not limited to, flow, thermal, mechanical and particle tracing phenomena.
- To advance our knowledge in the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and thermal simulations.
Collaborating with our team of experts to understand the specific requirements and challenges of CNT synthesis simulation. - Analyze simulation results to gain insights into process optimization, equipment design, efficiency enhancement, and performance prediction.
- Document findings, prepare reports, and share and present results to the team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in computational simulations.
- Proficiency in Multiphysics software (e.g. COMSOL, ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+)
- Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics and/or particle tracing principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Proactive, can-do attitude and way of working
- BSc., MSc., or PhD degree in Science or Engineering
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
